FARIYAS RESORT LONAVALA, Lonavala – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel has its highs and lows. While the rooms may not match the glamour of the photos and the prices seem steep, the mountain and pool views from the balcony are satisfying. The rooms are decently sized.

I had an amazing stay at the hotel! The rooms were so much better than I expected, facing the railway line but still neat and clean. The food was totally awesome; everything was up to the mark. Plus, having a balcony was a nice touch, and the housekeeping service was super prompt. On the downside, I felt like I got a room of a lower category than what I booked.

The hotel provides spacious rooms with excellent views from the balcony, and the small water park adds to the pleasure of the pool experience. The service for Christmas Eve celebrations was extremely helpful and polite, although room payment was insisted upon at check-in. The location's proximity to attractions is a huge plus, but the poorly lit area and warm climate can be challenging. The dining spread is lavish but lacks variety in the included desserts. The facilities are well-maintained and offer good value for money.

The hotel's location is an excellent addition, beautifully made, offering a joyful visit for kids and adults. However, the rooms seemed a bit run down over the years with cracks, cobwebs, and dust, making it shabbier. The dining experience had a better variety and incredible choices, especially the live Masala Tea counter, but gluten-free dishes were lacking.

The hotel is nestled in a charming location, but in need of some renovations. The rooms require a major refresh despite multiple requests. The service is friendly but lacks attention to detail like overcharging for simple items. Dining options are good but could benefit from ambiance changes. The facilities are adequate but could use improvements for a better overall experience.
